Neal Shipley

25-Year-Old Golfer
2026 Fantasy Outlook
Shipley exhausted his rookie eligibility on the PGA Tour when he made eight starts as a pro in 2024, but he'll become a full-time member for the first time after a brilliant 2025 Korn Ferry Tour campaign in which he finished fourth on the Points List, winning twice at the LECOM Suncoast Classic and The Ascendant in the process. The 24-year-old Pittsburgh native paced the KFT in both putting average and birdie or better conversion percentage, though he fell outside of the top 50 in GIR percentage. Nonetheless, Shipley has made the cut in nine of 12 career PGA Tour starts, most notably tying for sixth at the 2024 ISCO Championship. Read Past Outlooks
MC streak extends to four
March 31, 2026
Shipley went even-par at the Texas Children's Houston Open, failing to make the cut by two strokes.
ANALYSIS
The 2026 season continues to be a disaster for Shipley. He has missed the cut in seven of eight Tour tournaments (including in each of his last four outings), with his T68 at the WM Phoenix Open being his best finish. Shipley earned his PGA Tour membership for 2026 after finishing fourth on the Korn Ferry Tour Points List last year, but he won't stick around on the PGA for long unless he turns his game around. He'll look to right the ship at the Valero Texas Open, which will be his first appearance at TPC San Antonio.
