Shipley exhausted his rookie eligibility on the PGA Tour when he made eight starts as a pro in 2024, but he'll become a full-time member for the first time after a brilliant 2025 Korn Ferry Tour campaign in which he finished fourth on the Points List, winning twice at the LECOM Suncoast Classic and The Ascendant in the process. The 24-year-old Pittsburgh native paced the KFT in both putting average and birdie or better conversion percentage, though he fell outside of the top 50 in GIR percentage. Shipley carded a two-over 72 on Sunday at the RBC Canadian Open to finish four-under and tied for 51st.

ANALYSIS
Shipley ranked top-15 among the field in each of SG: Off-the-Tee, driving distance, FIR percentage and scrambling, but he tallied just 13 total birdies across 72 holes at TPC Toronto. He also lost a collective 2.85 strokes on and around the greens in Canada. Nonetheless, Shipley has now made the cut in three of four starts dating back to the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic, and he'll be in attendance again this week at Shinnecock Hills for his second career U.S. Open appearance.
