2026 Fantasy Outlook
A disappointing second-half of the 2024 campaign carried into 2025, where Homa missed six of his first eight cuts with a best result of T26. He showed some signs of life with a T12 at The Masters, but didn't post another top-25 until nearly two months later. Unlike last year, however, Homa has something to build off of as he closed the year with three top-20s over his last four events. Homa hasn't seen a drastic drop off in one particular area, but rather a steady a decline across the board over the last two years. Considering that we've seen him bounce back from struggles before and that there's no aspect severely holding him back, a resurgence from the seven-time Tour winner could certainly be in the cards. Runner-up at John Deere Classic
Homa carded a seven-under 64 in the final round of the John Deere Classic to finish as the runner-up and one stroke back of winner Chris Gotterup.
ANALYSIS
TPC Deere Run is considered a chaser's course, and Homa displayed why that is the case Sunday. He caught on fire on the back nine of the final round, carding four-straight birdies from holes 12 to 15 before adding another on the 17th to end the tournament with a 19-under cumulative score. It wasn't quite enough for him to keep up with Gotterup and Ben Kohles, but Homa still came away with his best finish of the season and just his second top-10 of 2026 (T9 at The Masters). Homa's performance Sunday was driven by his short game, leading the field in SG: Around-the-Green in the final round. For the tournament, he finished second in both SG: Around and birdies, T15 in GIR and in the top-25 in SG: Off-the-Tee, Approach and Putting. Homa is listed in the field for the ISCO Championship next week, which will be his debut at the event.

Homa finished the season inside the top-50 and earned just under $4 million in 2024, and yet the best word to describe his season was disastrous. Okay, that's a bit dramatic, but understand where Homa set the bar in the two years leading up to 2024 and it's hard to do anything but shake your head when trying to figure out what happened this past year. Homa's stats were down across the board, driving, GIR, putting, everything was worse in 2024 when compared to the preceding five years. When one aspect of a golfer's game isn't working, they do everything they can to fix that area, but when everything drops off, what do you do? Homa is simply too good to continue this downward spiral and he's going to pull out of it at some point. Whether that's early this season, late in the season or even in 2026 is unknown, but at his current number, he's certainly worth a long look in salary cap leagues.
