2026 Fantasy Outlook
Glover failed to accomplish much in the decade that followed his win at the 2009 U.S. Open, but to his credit, he really turned up his game when he neared the age of 40. Over the past five seasons, he's managed to maintain a fairly high level of production, even as he nears the age which he'd be eligible for the Champions Tour. His numbers from this past season were among the best in his career, with five top-10s and over $4 million in earnings. All of that is great, good for Glover, but his track record after a better than expected season is not great. In the season in that followed his best on the PGA Tour, 2023, he failed to crack $2 million in earnings, and that wasn't the first time he came back down to Earth after a great season. That and his advancing age make it nearly impossible to take him in a salary cap format this season. He still has value in other formats, but not nearly as much as he did this past year. T3 at John Deere Classic
Glover posted an 18-under cumulative score at the John Deere Classic to finish tied with Lee Hodges and Ben Kohles for third.
ANALYSIS
Glover raced to the top of the leaderboard after his bogey-free, eight-under 63 first round that included five birdies from holes six to 11, and he entered Sunday tied with Hodges at the top of the leaderboard. Glover started the final round nicely with back-to-back birdies on holes two and three, but he was unable to gain another stroke the rest of the day, which opened the door for Max Homa and winner Chris Gotterup to surpass him on the leaderboard. Glover finished as the tournament leader in SG: Approach, gaining 9.05 strokes in that category, though he ranked 35th in that category during the final round. His two bogeys were tied for the least amount of the event, and he also ranked 14th in SG: Around and T15 in GIR. It was the first top-3 finish of the season for Glover and his best performance since his T3 at THE PLAYERS in March of 2025. He'll tee off next week at the ISCO Championship, which will be his debut at the event.

In late 2023, Glover was the talk of the golf world. At the age of 44, suddenly someone learned how to putt. Glover parlayed his magical run into two victories and over $6 million in earnings. Though he was a major winner earlier in his career, he never quite panned out like many thought he would, often straddling the top-125 line. It was no surprise then that he came back down to Earth in 2024. To Glover's credit, however, he didn't completely disappear this past year, he just simply played like he had for the better part of the past 15 years. Now in his mid-40s, there's no reason to think that Glover is going to go on another run like he did in 2023 and as such, he makes for a poor salary cap selection for the upcoming season.
