Campillo carded a three-under 68 in the final round of the Soudal Open on the DP World Tour to finish in a six-way tie for second, two strokes back of winner Richard Sterne.

It was a wild final round for Campillo, who carded four bogeys from the 10th to 14th holes before going birdie-eagle-birdie from holes 15 to 17, bringing him back to under par for the round. He struggled with his accuracy off the tee but still finished seventh in the field in birdies made and in the top-30 in SG: Around-the-Green, SG: Approach, SG: Putting and scrambling. It's the second runner-up finish of the DP World Tour season for Campillo, who hasn't won an event on the tour since the 2023 Magical Kenya Open. He is not listed in the field for the Austrian Alpine Open next week.

2024 Fantasy Outlook
Campillo got off to a strong start early in 2023 with a stretch of golf that went T4-Win-T9-T3-8th. His only other top-10 finish the rest of the year was a runner-up att he Qatar Masters to help secure his 2024 PGA Tour card. The 37-year-old will more than likely be battling in the fall to keep his PGA Tour card for 2025 considering that he is still yet to make a cut in seven career starts at major championships.
