Jumps to fourth at Desert Classic

Schaper fired a two-under 70 during the final round of the Hero Dubai Desert Classic to finish tied for fourth with Francesco Molinari and Nicolai Hojgaard.

ANALYSIS
Schaper would have likely been in stronger contention for his third win on the DP World Tour had his one-under 71 third round not been marred with double bogeys on the second and fourth holes. It was still another strong performance from the South African, who has finished in the top-5 in four of five DP Tour tournaments this season that includes victories at the Alfred Dunhill Championship and AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open in December, which has him at the top of the Race to Dubai Rankings with 1,727.63 points. Schaper is in the field for the Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship next week.
