Crashes at Hero Indian Open
March 29, 2026
Schott carded an eight-over 80 in the final round of the Hero Indian Open to finish tied for 20th.
ANALYSIS
Schott opened the tournament strongly with a six-under 66 in the first round, and despite going one-over par across the next two days, the German was in position for another strong finish. His luck ran out in the final round Sunday, as he went seven-over on the back nine that included double bogeys on the 10th and 18th holes. It was an incredibly disappointing finish for Schott, but it encapsulated his season on the DP World Tour. He's finished in the top-20 in three of his last five outings (including his victory at the Bahrain Championship in February), but he's also finished outside the top-40 five times.
