Burmester surged up the leaderboard after going 13-under across Friday and Saturday. He opened the final round with four consecutive birdies, but the South African was unable to maintain that level of play over the final 14 holes of the day, going one-over in that span. Burmester led the field in scrambling opportunities while ranking T6 in birdies made and in the top-20 in both GIR and driving distance. He has finished in the top-20 in each of the last four LIV Golf tournaments and sits 11th in the individual standings with 115.70 points. The next LIV Golf event starts April 16 in Mexico.

Looking at Burmester’s stats for the 2024 LIV Golf season, nothing really stands out other than perhaps his driving distance and scrambling percentage.
