A two-time winner on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2023, Kim was unable to work his way into contention at the higher level, failing to record a top-5 and finished a mediocre 112nd in the FedExCup Standings. Kim was still able to make over 70 percent of his cuts, even with a cold putter, gaining strokes on the greens in just six tournaments. He made up for it by finishing the year 16th in SG: Tee-to-Green, showing signs that there's room for improvement. ANALYSIS
Coming off a T14 at the event last year, Kim had another strong showing at TPC San Antonio, posting three under-par rounds under difficult scoring conditions for a top-5 result. He did it despite losing strokes off the tee as he ranked 11th in SG: Approach and around the green for the week. The T5 finish is Kim's best career result on the PGA Tour and one of three top-20s over his last seven starts.
