2026 Fantasy Outlook
Ramey clinched his PGA Tour card for 2026 with a strong T2 showing at the World Wide Technology Championship in the fall. Ramey didn't have many weeks to write home about, but he did collect four top-10 finishes which was a new personal-best on the PGA Tour. The 33-year-old was still outside the top 100 in SG: Total and lost strokes in every category except SG: Putting. Ramey was also fortunate to retain full status despite making only half of his cuts. He'll surely want to find some more consistency in 2026, but Ramey will likely be a risky boom-or-bust fantasy play for the foreseeable future. Sometimes a few hot weeks over the course of a season is all it takes to keep your card. Read Past Outlooks
Tallies 20 par-breakers in Texas
Ramey carded a two-under 69 on Sunday at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson to finish nine-under and tied for 59th.
ANALYSIS
Ramey gained 2.4 strokes with his irons en route to 19 total birdies and an eagle throughout the week at TPC Craig Ranch, but he lost 2.42 strokes putting and converted just one of eight sand save opportunities. Nonetheless, he paced THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson field in both par-5 scoring average and P5: BoB percentage. Ramey drops one spot to No. 105 in the FedExCup standings ahead of the Charles Schwab Challenge where he tied for 12th in 2023.

2022
2024 was an important year for Ramey as his two-year winner's exemption was ending, but he came through with seven top-25s to finish 117th in the FedExCup. His only top-10 was a playoff loss at the Zurich Classic team event, however, and he's failed to post an individual top-10 since his alternate event win in March of 2022. Ramey's ball-striking shortcomings are well evident in his statistics - 129th in SG: Off-the-tee, 162nd in approach and 151st in distance. His short game is quite solid and picks up a lot of the slack, but it doesn't lead to enough birdies to contend. Without some drastic improvement with his long game, Ramey will struggle to maintain his full status past this year.
