Davis got off to a strong start in 2025, posting a top-20 in three of the first four events, highlighted by a top-5 showing at Pebble Beach. The momentum stalled thereafter, however, as that was his only top 10 all year, and he missed the cut in 11-of-23 starts. He elected to skip the fall season entirely, taking over four months off before playing in his home country of Australia in late November. Davis lost shots in every strokes gained category this season and isn't nearly as long off the tee as he used to be. The two-time Tour winner has shown ups-and-downs before, but there's plenty of reason to be skeptical that he can find his old form again. Read Past Outlooks
