Wiesberger posted a 19-under cumulative score at the Volvo China Open on the DP World Tour to win the tournament by three strokes over Adrian Otaegui.
ANALYSIS
It was a two-man race between Wiesberger and Otaegui during the final round Sunday, but it was the former that emerged on top after posting a bogey-free, four-under 67 score while the latter fell apart with a three-over back nine. It was Wiesberger's ninth DP Tour victory of his career and first since the Made in HimmerLand in Denmark in May of 2021. Thanks to his victory in China, Wiesberger rose 54 spots to 16th in the DP World Tour Race to Dubai Rankings. He is listed in the field for next week's Turkish Airlines Open.
