Del Rey opened the tournament with a two-over 72 but responded with a four-under 66 second round, which was just enough for him to qualify for the weekend. He moved into the top-20 with a five-under 65 score Saturday but was unable to maintain that momentum into Sunday's round. Del Rey finished the tournament T8 in birdies, 13th in both driving distance and SG: Off-the-Tee and 19th in SG: Putting, though he also ranked 63rd out of the 71 players who made the cut in SG: Around. He'll tee off next week at the Corales Puntacana Championship.
