Otaugui fired a bogey-free, eight-under 64 during the final round of the Hainan Classic to finish tied with Marcus Armitage and Yanhan Zhou for third.

Otaugui surged up the leaderboard over the final two days of the tournament. He followed up his five-under 67 third round with a 64 on Sunday, when he went six-under on the back nine while scoring six birdies and an eagle for the day. It was the Spaniard's best finish on the DP World Tour this season, and he has finished T6-T6-T3 in each of his last three tournaments. He'll tee off at the Hero Indian Open next week.
