2026 Fantasy Outlook
The 2025 season looked to be Meronk’s to grasp after he won the opening LIV Golf tournament in Riyadh in convincing fashion. He followed that up with a T12 finish at LIV Golf Adelaide, but finished T29 or worse in each of the next seven tournaments, with his inaccuracy off the tee (49th in driving accuracy) proving to be his kryptonite. He ended the LIV Golf season nicely with three top-15 finishes over the last four tournaments, and despite his inconsistencies he finished in the top 20 of the individual standings for a second straight year. Meronk has played in each of the last nine major championships, but has missed the cut in five of them. He isn't currently exempt for any majors in 2026. Read Past Outlooks
T57 in Munich
Meronk posted a one-over cumulative score at the BMW International Open on the DP World Tour to finish tied with Daniel Young for 57th.
ANALYSIS
Meronk was one of the early contenders in Munich after going eight-under through the first two days, including a five-under 67 on Thursday. However, he fell apart Saturday with an eight-over 80 that included a triple bogey, a double bogey and six bogeys. It's not the form Meronk was looking for ahead of next week's Genesis Scottish Open, where he's failed to make the cut in each of his two prior outings in 2022 and 2023.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2025
2024
Another debutant to the LIV Golf league in 2024, Meronk was coming off a 2023 season in which he reached a career-high 39th in the world rankings. He managed to finish 17th in the LIV Golf individual season standings with 67.52 points, but he didn’t manage to make much inroads in any tournament outside of his runner-up finish to Carlos Ortiz in Houston. Meronk appeared in all four majors thanks to his top-100 world ranking, but he managed to make the cut only in The Open Championship (T50). He is not guaranteed to participate in any of the four majors in 2025 due to being ranked outside of the top-100.
