2026 Fantasy Outlook
Schenk changed the entire course of his career with one week near the end of 2025 where he picked up his first PGA Tour win in extremely windy conditions at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship. Schenk's only other top-20 finishes in 2025 were a T6 at the Sony Open and a T5 at THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson. He also only made the cut in 12-of-29 events. Schenk ranked 141st in SG: Total and 139th in scoring average. Thankfully that win gives Schenk the ability to play with some freedom in 2026 knowing that he will have a card in 2027, but he's got to play a lot better in pretty much every area of the game to make him worth a look in salary cap leagues. Fails to do much on weekend
Schenk finished in a share of 60th place at the Cognizant Classic after shooting a one-under 70 in the final round.
ANALYSIS
Schenk made the cut on the number, but shot even-par on the weekend to stay about right where he was at T60. He ranked outside the top 50 in SG: Off-the-Tee, SG: Approach, driving accuracy and GIR's. Schenk has a T11 at the Farmers Insurance Open this year, but has struggled in his five other starts in 2026. He scored a big win last fall in Bermuda to keep full status this season, but it's time to start finding some results. Schenk is not in the field for any event next week.

Schenk had a respectable start to the year with four top-20s across his first nine events, but he completely lost his form thereafter, playing the weekend in only five of his final 16 events - three of which came in no-cut events. His driving play remained strong but the iron play and putting dropped significantly, which were previous strengths. It's surprising how far Schenk has dropped considering he qualified for the Tour Championship in 2023, and fantasy managers are best to take a wait-and-see type approach to see if Schenk finds his old form early in the year.
