The Steelers selected Iheanachor in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 21st overall.
ANALYSIS
Iheanachor (6-foot-6, 321 pounds) is light on experience but extremely athletic, boasting a 4.91-second 40 (96th percentile among offensive tackles, according to Mockdraftable) even at a dense build. It's not clear how concerning the medical reports have been on incumbent left tackle Broderick Jones (neck), but it's possible that the Steelers will consider Iheanachor at left guard if he doesn't claim the starting left tackle role.

Jeff Legwold of ESPN.com labels Iheanachor as one of the players whose draft stock has risen the most in the last few months.
ANALYSIS
Iheanachor is now considered an early Day 2 pick after putting together an impressive body of work at Arizona State over the last two seasons in particular and then impressing in Senior Bowl workouts. Iheanachor moved to the U.S. from Nigeria as a teenager and didn't play organized football until arriving at East Los Angeles College. Legwold notes Iheanachor's 6-foot-6 stature, 4.95 40-yard dash and 83.25-inch wingspan also add to his growing appeal.
