2024 Fantasy Outlook
Lattimore has gone from one of the league's top cornerbacks to one who can't stay on the field. The four-time Pro Bowler tallied 68 tackles and 12 passes defended while playing just 17 regular-season games over the past two years. Despite offseason trade rumors, Lattimore is expected to be healthy and back on the roster in 2024. Paulson Adebo and Alontae Taylor are proven, productive young cornerbacks for the Saints, but Lattimore still should be the alpha of this group, as he'll look to return to his elite form of annual double-digit passes defended. Could return to practice this week?
Head coach Dan Quinn said Monday that he's "hopeful" Lattimore (hamstring) can return to practice this week, JP Finlay of NBC Sports Washington reports.
ANALYSIS
This report doesn't sound overly optimistic about Lattimore's potential return for the Commanders' Week 12 matchup against the Cowboys. However, Quinn noted that the newly acquired corner is "trending [in] the right direction." Lattimore's practice participation throughout the week will likely provide the best indication of whether he can suit up for Sunday's divisional matchup in Landover.

Lattimore missed significant time due to health concerns for the first time in his career in 2022, as he dealt with an injury to his ribs and kidney that ultimately limited to just seven games. The four-time Pro Bowler also failed to tally double-digit pass defenses or at least 50 tackles, as he accomplished in each of his first five seasons. Lattimore still appeared to play at a high level when healthy for the final two contests, and he should be on tap for another elite campaign as a premier cornerback ahead of Paulson Adebo, Bradley Roby and Alontae Taylor.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Health stalling trade talks
The Saints have received calls from multiple teams interested in trading for Lattimore, but his health has been holding up potential trade talks, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Lattimore suffered a hamstring injury in Week 7 against the Broncos, and he aggravated the injury in Week 8 against the Chargers, which will sideline him for Sunday's contest against the Panthers. Across seven regular-season games, he's logged 30 tackles and two pass breakups, and despite his injury history, he has played every single defensive snap in four of those contests. Lattimore would give the Chiefs an upgrade at corner to replace Jaylen Watson, who suffered a season-ending ankle fracture in Week 7 against the 49ers.
