The Chiefs signed Kohou on Thursday, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports.
ANALYSIS
Kohou missed the entirety of the 2025 campaign after suffering a partially torn ACL during training camp last summer. He was medically cleared for all football activities earlier this month and should have a relatively normal offseason. The Chiefs badly needed the cornerback help after losing both Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson to the Rams this week.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2025
2024
2023
Kohou started nine of his 15 appearances with Miami last season, and the team's decision to tender him this offseason seems to hint at his being primed for a starting role at slot cornerback. An unfortunate ACL tear during training camp, however, will force him to miss all of 2025. While Kohou had career lows in terms of defensive snaps (671), total tackles (45) and passes defensed (eight) in 2024, he also did log a career-best two interceptions.
Kohou enters Year 3 having solidified himself as a valuable part of Miami's rotation at cornerback. He took a step back statistically in 2023, but the Dolphins secondary looks set to improve as a whole, which should be to Kohou's benefit. He figures to primarily work out of the slot, but can take perimeter snaps when necessary.
Kohou handled a valuable rotational role for Miami as a rookie last season, appearing in 15 games while racking up 72 tackles, 10 pass breakups and one INT. Once Jalen Ramsey is back to full health his role could decline, but to open the 2023 season Kohou stands to handle a pivotal gig in Miami's secondary.
