Ekwonu has started all 49 games he's appeared in since being selected by Carolina in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Now entering his fourth season, he's expected to remain the Panthers' top left tackle and continue protecting Bryce Young's blindside.
Ekwonu, a 2022 first-round pick out of NC State, has started all of the Panthers' 34 regular-season games since entering the league. The 23-year-old is expected to remain Carolina's top left tackle on a completely revamped offensive line in 2024.
Drafted in the first round last year, Ekwonu started all 17 games at left tackle as a rookie. Heading into his second campaign, Ekwonu is expected to maintain that prized role, this time protecting the blind side of No. 1 overall pick Bryce Young.
