The fifth-year pro, who's completing a recovery from January biceps surgery, amassed 91 tackles and 8.5 sacks the last two years alone for Los Angeles, above-average numbers from a defensive tackle. Gaines projects to serve as Vita Vea's backup, but with over 700 defensive snaps logged in both of the last two seasons, he could be entrusted with a robust rotational role.
