After the top offensive tackle prospect went through a medical recheck during the combine, some teams came away with the belief that Mauigoa will need a cleanup procedure on his back down the road after he dealt with a minor disc issue late in his final college season at Miami. He never missed a snap during his college career, however, and the issue isn't expected to impact his draft stock. Mauigoa stands a good chance to be the first tackle off the board during the 2026 NFL Draft.
