After inking a one-year contract with the Cardinals in April, Wilkinson opened camp as the team's starting left guard.
Wilkinson signed a one-year, $1.9 million deal with the Falcons this offseason after serving as the Bears' swing tackle last year. However, the undrafted product out of Massachusetts is the favorite to win the starting left guard spot in Atlanta with Jalen Mayfield struggling during training camp after dealing with a lower-back issue.
After being signed by Denver as an undrafted free agent in 2017, Wilkinson spent four years with the Broncos before being signed by the Bears this offseason to provide depth at tackle. With Teven Jenkins and German Ifedi expected to start at tackle, Wilkinson will likely compete with Bobby Massie in case the team suffers an injury to one of the starters.
