2026 Fantasy Outlook
Zvada went undrafted this spring after missing eight field-goal attempts in his final season at Michigan, but the Giants think the rookie can bounce back to the form he showed earlier in his collegiate career. Zvada won Big Ten Kicker of the Year in 2024, converting 21 of 22 field-goal attempts. Before that, he made 85.0 percent of his three-point tries at Arkansas State while missing just one PAT in two seasons. Zvada will now compete with Ben Sauls for the placekicking job in New York under new head coach John Harbaugh. Read Past Outlooks
Joins Giants
The Giants signed Zvada as an undrafted free agent Thursday, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.
ANALYSIS
Zvada was fantastic in his junior season at Michigan, connecting on 21 of 22 field-goal attempts (95.5 percent) while earning Big Ten Kicker of the Year honors. However, he struggled mightily as a senior, hitting just 17 of 25 field-goal tries (68.0 percent). Zvada is a longshot for the starting job while competing against Jason Sanders -- who hit 90 percent of field goals in 2025 -- and Ben Sauls -- who was perfect in three games as a rookie.

Favorite for starting job
Dan Duggan of The Athletic notes that Zvada has a leg up on Ben Sauls for the Giants' starting kicker job heading into training camp.
ANALYSIS
Sauls signed with the Giants as an undrafted free agent in November and made all eight of his field-goal attempts across the final three games of the 2025 regular season. He appeared to be the favorite for the starting job after the Giants released Jason Sanders in early June, but that momentum came to a crashing halt after Sauls went 19-for-36 on field-goal attempts in open practices. Zvada, on the other hand, made all 13 of his field-goal tries in minicamp, and head coach John Harbaugh told reporters this past week that Zvada was the most consistent kicker throughout spring practices. Duggan notes that the Giants could cut Sauls and bring in a veteran kicker for training camp to maintain a competition for Zvada.
