2026 Projections
Minimal production in 2025
Autry logged eight tackles (five solo), including 3.5 sacks, one pass defense and one forced fumble across 12 regular-season games with the Texans in 2025.
ANALYSIS
Autry opened the season on the PUP list due to a knee injury that he played through for much of the 2024 campaign. He made his 2025 debut in Week 7, but he was consistently listed on the injury report due to that same knee issue, which impacted his production and snap count on defense. Autry has accumulated 6.5 sacks across 22 regular-season games over the last two years, which is a far cry from the six prior seasons, when he recorded at least 7.5 sacks in five of those campaigns. Autry will enter the offseason as an unrestricted free agent, and while he'll garner interest from teams as a veteran depth option on the defensive line, it seems as though his best days are well behind him.

The Texans lost 11 sacks when they traded Maliek Collins to San Francisco and let Sheldon Rankins depart for Cincinnati. To help make up for the loss of QB pressure, Houston signed Autry, a productive defensive end coming off a career-high 11.5 sacks for the Titans in 2023. The 34-year-old may not play exclusively at end, as Houston can roll with Will Anderson and Danielle Hunter on the edge. Autry may have to apply pressure on quarterbacks from the interior - where the Collins/Rankins duo played - but defensive tackle isn't typically a spot for 6-5 defensive linemen.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Looking to return to Tennessee
Autry is a free agent this offseason after recording a career-high 11.5 sacks in 2023, but he's hoping to re-sign with the Titans, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The 33-year-old defensive end has three other seasons on his resume with at least eight sacks. Autry could get a big contract despite his age given the league-wide need for pass-rush help, but he'd prefer to remain in Tennessee. "It's a good fit for me," he said in December. "I like it here." Autry previously signed a three-year, $21.5 million deal with the Titans in March of 2021.
