Kpeenu's draft stock has improved thanks to a productive senior season at North Dakota State, Jeff Legwold of ESPN.com reports.

Kpeenu compiled 1,005 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns while adding a 20-247-1 receiving line as a senior, and he increased his production on the ground over that of the prior year in each of his last three college campaigns. Legwold notes Kpeenu was ranked as no more than a priority undrafted free agent in the immediate wake of his impressive 2025 season; however, scouts around the NFL are now viewing the talented back as a potential Day 3 pick, given the 5.3 yards per carry he averaged over his four-year college tenure, his hard-charging running style, solid pass protection and American Bowl performance.
