Stetson Bennett

The triumphant hero returns, as Bennett decided to come back to Georgia despite leading the Bulldogs to the National Championship last season. While Bennett silenced his critics, it is difficult to imagine he improves on a banner season in which he completed 64.5-percent of his throws for 2,862 yards, 29 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He lost wideout George Pickens along with both main running backs, Zamir White and James Cook to the NFL Draft, and second-leading receiver Jermaine Burton transferred to Alabama. Talented tight end Brock Bowers remains, though, and Georgia still possesses plenty of playmakers otherwise. Has Bennett become a new quarterback, or was his 2021 campaign simply an anomaly? Of note, Georgia does not face Alabama during the regular season in 2022, so the schedule does look awfully favorable to Bennett and company.
