Quinten Joyner

Joyner projects as a true three-down back for the Red Raiders after spending his first two seasons at USC. He flashed his explosive potential with a 75-yard touchdown run against Penn State in Week 7 of the 2024 season. Joyner will need to beat out teammates J'Koby Williams, Cameron Dickey, and Cam'Ron Valdez for the starting role in the backfield. Whoever does step into the lead role will have to fill big shoes, as Tahj Brooks recorded back-to-back 1,500-yard seasons for the Red Raiders. Texas Tech's offense is expected to play with more tempo and spread formations, which should play well into Joyner's desire for open space as a runner and receiver.
