2022 Fantasy Outlook
In 2021, Keene was thrust into action against Navy in the wake of Dillon Gabriel’s injury, and he retained the starting job all year. The true freshman responded by tossing for 1,730 yards, 17 touchdowns and six interceptions on 63.6% completion. He had his highs and lows, to be sure, but Keene will have the privilege of piloting an offense that returns its top two wide receivers, Ryan O’Keefe and Brandon Johnson, and top two halfbacks, Isaiah Bowser and Johnny Richardson. The Knights also added some offensive talent through the transfer portal, picking up former Auburn wideout Kobe Hudson as well as former Florida tight end Kemore Gamble. The returning production, plus the influx of SEC skill players gives the Knights a loaded offense for 2022. Keene will have all the pieces around him to put up gaudy numbers in his sophomore season.
