Nelson was recently arrested in Florida but charges have been dropped against the third year running back. His future with the Cornhuskers has yet to be fully determined but he should remain eligible to return to the field this season barring any further complications. The 6-foot back ran for 147 yards and two touchdowns on 5.4 YPC in 2025 while catching eight passes for 102 scoreless yards through the air as well.
