Kenny Pickett

Pickett feels like he’s been forever, and will now enter his fourth season as the Panthers starter after taking over in the latter portion of 2017. The team hasn’t had a rushing attack since James Conner departed, so Pickett has been forced to throw often. And unfortunately, that volume hasn’t led to big production. He’s thrown for just 12 or 13 touchdowns in each of the last three years, often times mixing multiple score games with goose eggs. He is a threat with his legs, running for 13 scores as a starter, but there just seems to be a glaring lack of upside in Pickett’s game. Wideout Jordan Allison is a bonafide stud, and his supporting cast isn’t bad, and Pickett did average 267.5 yards per game last year. But that seems like his ceiling, with a few more scores spread out over additional games.
