Payne scored his first collegiate touchdown against the Cougars. Despite averaging just 4.3 rushing attempts per game, the true freshman was able to reach paydirt in TCU's sixth game. Cam Cook remains atop the depth chart; however, Payne is a player to watch to see if he can see more snaps as the season progresses. TCU is off next week before playing at Utah.
