Tibbs caught an eight-yard touchdown pass during this back-and-forth second half shootout. This marked the sophomore wideout's just second career touchdown and his first since Week 1 versus Indiana State. Tibbs logged 11 catches for 89 yards through the first five games of the season, but he tied with junior wideout Jahmal Edrine for the Boilermakers' second-most targets Saturday. Quarterback Ryan Browne also finished with three touchdown passes while making his first start in place of an injured Hudson Card (concussion). With Card's status up in the air, Browne could be in line to start again during next week's home game versus Oregon. However, it will likely be a longshot for Tibbs to haul in a touchdown for the second week in a row.
