Leaving for NFL
Cook announced Wednesday via his personal Instagram account that he will forgo his remaining eligibility at Georgia to enter the 2022 NFL Draft.
ANALYSIS
Cook put together the most impressive season of his four-year college career in 2021, rushing 113 times for 728 yards and seven touchdowns while also hauling in 27 of 32 targets for 284 yards and another four scores. His versatility as both a runner and a receiver should draw some eyeballs from NFL scouts, and he has limited tread on his tires after working in a backfield committee throughout his career.

2021 Fantasy Outlook
Cook was a home run hitter for the Bulldogs last season, averaging 6.7 yards per rush along with 14.1 yards per reception in 2020. He scored five touchdowns on just 61 total touches out of the backfield. Unfortunately, his touches were sparse, as Zamir White spearheaded the Georgia rushing attack. In addition, Kenny McIntosh, Kendall Milton and Daijun Edwards also each received a comparable amount of opportunities to Cook, and all three return to the Bulldogs as well this season. As a result, Dalvin’s little brother may once again be fighting for touches in a crowded backfield.
