Elijah Canion

Canion is expected to lead an all-new receiving corps for the Tigers, as Seth Williams, Anthony Schwartz and Eli Stove have all moved on to greener pastures. That’s 145 catches to replace, and Canion should be one of the chief beneficiaries. He has prototypical size at 6-foot-3, 215-lbs, and showed flashes of his potential in the VRBO Citrus Bowl on New Year’s Day. Canion led the Tigers in receiving for the game, which included an impressive 57-yard touchdown grab from quarterback Bo Nix. Canion finished the game with three receptions for 80 yards and the touchdowns. While Nix has been mediocre at best during his time at Auburn, Canion will have a plethora of opportunities to get on the same page as his quarterback due to the above-referenced departures.
