Ends career on quiet game
Mooney caught three of six targets for 43 yards in Saturday's victory over Southern Mississippi at the Armed Forces Bowl.
ANALYSIS
Mooney wasn't able to make the impact he was expected to make this season with only one game over 100 yards receiving, and the bowl game was no exception after he failed to reach 50 yards for the fourth time in the last five contests. On the season, the senior recorded 713 yards and five touchdowns, a step down from the 993 yards and eight scores he had just a year ago.

2019 Fantasy Outlook
If not for a six-catch, 217-yard, two-touchdown explosion against East Carolina last season, Mooney's splits between the first half and the second half of last year would be a concern. In the first six games, he averaged 5.0 catches for 90.7 yards per outings; but take out that East Carolina game and his second half averages drop to only 2.0 catches for 38.7 yards. Still, he's Tulane's only returning receiver who had more than 100 yards last season, so he'll easily be Justin McMillan's favorite target and a threat to every defense he faces.
