Connor Bazelak

Bazelak completed 67.3-percent of his passes as a redshirt freshman in 2020 and posted three 300-yard passing games. On the downside, he tossed just seven touchdowns in 10 contests, while also throwing six interceptions. Leading receiver Keke Chism returns, though Damon Hazelton is in the NFL and Jalen Knox has left the program. Tauskie Dove and Barrett Banister will be back and did have 57 catches between them last season, though, so there is still plenty of experience left in the wide receiving corps. Bazelak will also have the benefit of senior Tyler Badie as a safety valve out of the backfield. Completing drives with touchdown throws should be a focal point for Bazelak and the Tigers in 2021.
