Quiet day in blowout loss
Chiles completed 10 of 17 passes for 154 yards during Friday's 31-10 loss against Oregon. He also had 12 rushes for 29 yards.
ANALYSIS
It was the same old story for Chiles and the Michigan State offense, as they drvoe into Oregon territory a number of times before coughing it up and failing to score. One such example came on the Spartans' opening drive, in which the team drove down deep into Oregon territory before a costly fumble from Chiles near the goal line gave Oregon possession with an opportunity to create early separation. The young signal-caller has shown flashes of greatness amidst struggles throughout the first half of the season and will be hoping to use Saturday's much-needed bye to bounce back heading into the team's matchup against Iowa the following Saturday.
