Walker Eget Injury: Probable for fall practice

Duke's head coach Manny Diaz announced that he expects Eget (leg) to be a full participant in Duke's fall camp, Brian Murphy of WRAL reports.

For the Duke team's ACC Media Day, Diaz confirmed Eget's probable status by saying that the quarterback should be available for fall just before their 2026 season begins. This would mean Eget would have sufficient time to prepare for Duke's season opener Sept. 5 against Tulane. Considering that he is the Devils' main man under center, having him will be paramount for early success.
