Turner Helton News: In positional battle

Helton is in the middle of a positional battle with Max Johnson, Colby Zak of WSAV reports.

Helton is entering his second year with Georgia Southern but is currently facing competition for the job under center from UNC transfer Max Johnson. The 6-foot-2 quarterback completed 14 of 26 passes for 74 yards and one touchdown across three games last season.
