Jeron Askren News: Withdraws from portal
Askren will return to Missouri State in 2026, per his personal X account.
The tight end initially elected to enter the transfer portal, but he's since changed his mind and will return to the Bears in 2026. Last season, he caught 19 passes for 224 yards and five touchdowns, and he should be slated to be a big part of the Bears' offense this fall once again.
