James Laubstein News: Returning to New Mexico
After winning an appeal to be granted an extra year, Laubstein will return to New Mexico, per Sean Reider of The Albuquerque Journal.
Laubstein will rejoin the Lobos' offense after being granted an extra year of eligibility. He will most likely compete against Luke Moga for the backup quarterback duties. Last season, he appeared in nine games, primarily serving as a dual-threat option, with 59 rushing attempts for 363 yards and one touchdown.
