Making his CFL debut, Luther put together an impressive performance that included a tie with Justin Rankin for the team lead in receptions and the runner-up spot in receiving yards. Luther, who's spent time with three NFL teams and had an 1,100-yard season during his final college campaign at Gardner-Webb, could develop into one of Cody Fajardo's more trusted targets despite the competition at the pass-catching positions in Edmonton. Luther will look to build further rapport with Fajardo during a Week 2 bye before returning to action in a home matchup against the Alouettes on Saturday, June 20.
