Emilus secured all six targets for 91 yards and three touchdowns in the Roughriders' 31-27 win over the Lions on Saturday night.
ANALYSIS
Kian Schaffer-Baker and KeeSean Johnson combined for 20 catches and 296 yards, but Emilus was the only one of the trio to get into the end zone on 11, four and six yards out. The veteran had back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons in 2023 and 2024, but he was limited seven games during the Roughriders' Grey Cup-winning campaign a year ago. However, he posted a productive 37-588-2 line in that span, and if Saturday's performance is any indication, it appears he's picking up where he left off after he also combined for 19 catches and 208 yards in Saskatchewan's last two postseason contests in November. Emilus' first opportunity to put together a fitting encore comes in a Week 3 road matchup against the Stampeders next Saturday night.
