Alexander came into the afternoon with a 13-game career-opening winning streak as a starter, but he ultimately saw that impressive run snapped at the hands of a game Elks squad. Alexander still rewarded fantasy managers by eclipsing the 300-yard mark through the air for the third time in as many games to open the season, piling up plenty of numbers in the second half while leading Montreal back from a pair of 10-point fourth-quarter deficits. Alexander connected with Tyler Snead from 34 yards out for his one touchdown pass, a key scoring strike to bring the Alouettes within three points with three minutes left in regulation. Despite the loss, Alexander once again profiles as a highly appealing fantasy option for a Week 4 home matchup against the Redblacks on Sunday, June 28.
