Fajardo completed 27 of 42 passes for 330 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions and added eight carries for 49 yards in the Alouettes' 30-28 loss to the Argonauts in Saturday's East Final.
ANALYSIS
Fajardo put together an excellent all-around showing save for his pair of interceptions (including one pick-six), but it ultimately wasn't enough for Montreal to punch a second consecutive ticket to the Grey Cup. The veteran signal-caller completed passes to nine different targets overall, and his three touchdown tosses, which went to Kaion Julien-Grant (eight yards), Austin Mack (15 yards) and Walter Fletcher (four yards), tied a season high. Fajardo showed he had plenty left to offer during a successful 2024 regular season, so he should have an excellent chance of reprising a starting role in 2025.
