2024-25 Florida Atlantic Team Stats

2024 Tournament PreviewExpectations were sky-high this year for Dusty May and the Owls after last season's surprising Final Four run out of C-USA. Now in the American conference, Florida Atlantic fell just shy of a regular-season title but built a resume more than worthy of an at-large bid. The highlight came in December with a double-overtime victory against Pac-12 champion Arizona, but the Owls also posted a Quad 1 win against Texas A&M and a solid 7-3 record in Quad 2 games. Co-AAC Player of the Year Johnell Davis (18.2 ppg, 6.3 rpg, 3.0 apg) shoots 42.5 percent from 3-point range, creating a formidable inside-outside tandem with 7-1 junior Vladislav Goldin (15.6 ppg, 6.8 rpg), as FAU ranks 14th nationally in offensive efficiency (per KenPom). The Owls return much last year's core and are No. 1 in KenPom's minutes continuity metric. FAU won't surprise anyone this year, but it has more than enough talent and experience to make another run.
