Ejiofor entered this contest averaging 19.1 points and 7.8 rebounds over his last eight, but a step back was to be expected given Seton Hall has some of the top marks in the country in terms of two-point FG defense, block rate and turnover rate. Despite the down game, Ejiofor managed to get his teammates involved with a three-game high in assists, and his 3.2 apg average through 19 contests is roughly double last year's mark. Meanwhile, St. John's has won five games in a row and sits at 7-1 in conference play, just a game behind UConn, entering Wednesday's action. Next up is a road matchup against Xavier, which projects much more favorably for Ejiofor's outlook.
