Ejiofor posted 18 points (7-11 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, two assists, seven blocks and three steals in 33 minutes during Saturday's 72-52 victory over UConn.

Through three games in the Big East Tournament, Ejiofor averaged 19.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 4.0 blocks, making him clearly the most deserving candidate for the tournament's Most Outstanding Player. It's the second year in a row St. John's has cut down the nets at Madison Square Garden, and this time around, the Red Storm didn't trail for the entirety of the tournament.
