In what was a quiet offseason for SMU thus far, the team's first big splash is one of the portal's best commodities, so good that there is at least some legitimate consideration that he forgoes his remaining collegiate eligibility for the 2026 NBA Draft. Brumbaugh averaged 19.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.9 three-pointers made and 1.6 steals across 33 of Tulane's games last season. If he does not enter the 2026 NBA Draft, the Mustangs have got themselves an excellent guard to shore up their backcourt.
