ANALYSIS
Payne was not honored on senior day Sunday, and head coach Buzz Williams noted that it was due to the fact that Payne's decision on next year has not been finalized. Payne has now missed 20 consecutive games due to a significant leg injury that he suffered in December. Although the senior played and started in 10 games this season, there's a chance he could get a medical redshirt and return next season. That would be excellent news for the Terrapins -- if he were to choose to return to Maryland -- as Payne averaged 17.5 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.1 blocks across 26.8 minutes per game this season.
