Heise helped spark Iowa State's second-consecutive win over a top-10 foe by draining all three of his attempts from long range, with none bigger than his go-ahead three with 1:17 remaining that gave the Cyclones the lead for good. The senior reserve, whose gritty performance included six boards, an assist and a steal, reached double figures in the scoring column for just the fourth time this season and the third time through 13 conference games. For the season, Heise is shooting just 31.8-percent from beyond the arc, though he has lifted that average to 37.1-percent against Big 12 competition after connecting on 40.9-percent last season.
